糖尿病的病因
糖尿病(Diabetes Mellitus)一詞源於拉丁文，意思是「蜜糖的噴泉」，表面上是美麗，其實是形容病人小便多而帶甜味。
至今，糖尿病的確實病因仍然不能肯定。但有一點可以肯定，糖尿病並非因進食過多糖的緣故，誠然吃過多糖可使糖尿病較難治療。糖尿病不是傳染病，它不是從別人那裏傳染來的。
